Hitachi delivers more in less with the Travelstar C4K60 Slim, a third generation 4200 rpm, 1.8-inch hard disk drive. At just 5mm high and featuring a ZIF connector, the drive meets the exacting demands of sleek consumer electronic devices. Travelstar C4K60 Slim offers 30GB per platter, with a maximum capacity of 60GB. The 1-disk model measures a slim 5mm and is available in 20GB and 30GB capacities. The 2-disk model, available in 40GB and 60GB capacities, has a thickness of 8mm. New design enhancements include the use of femto sliders and other component changes to deliver reduced power consumption and improved shock tolerance. The increased capacity along with the ZIF connector, longer battery life and greater ruggedness, make the Travelstar C4K60 Slim the featherweight champion of storage-intensive, on-the-go devices.

Travelstar C4K60 Slim is the second generation Hitachi 1.8-inch hard drive with the ZIF connector. That, along with the new lower 5mm profile of the 1-disk model, makes C4K60 Slim the ideal choice for sleek CE devices.
