The terminator modules terminate the control cable A lines. As shipped, four terminator modules are installed in each drive, terminating every line; the locations are shown in Fig. 2-10C,2-10D,2-10E. However, each line must be terminated only once.
Therefore:

• In srat (radial) systems, leave the terminator modules in all drives.
• In daisy-chain systems, remove the terminator modules from all drives except the drive at the end of the daisy-chain.
