External SCSI ID control (J8 Pin 1-8)

J8 is available from PCB Rev. 1.

(1) Pin Assignment

Table 2-5 pin assignment of J8

pin# Signal Name pin# Signal Name
1 GND 2 ID Polarity
3 GND 4 SCSI ID 2^2
5 GND 6 SCSI ID 2^1
7 GND 6 SCSI ID 2^0

Note 1:
When J8 is used for SCSI ID setting, jumper plug of Bit 20,21,22 of JP248 must be removed.
Note 2:
When ID polarity pin is shorted to ground polarity of all SCSI ID bits 2^n (n=0,1,2) will be changed. However, such signals as parity, motor start/stop write protect and etc are not changed.
