After cleaning the drive, pack it in the following manner
to prevent moisture.
Put the drive in a ESD protective vinyl bag with a desiccant.
Protect the drive against shocks with the corrugated
board and cushioning material provided by the manufacturer,
or with equivalents.
Clearly mark "UP" and "DOWN" on
the outside of the packing case and write such cautions
as "Do not turn this case upside down" and "Take
care of handling".
When packing, unpacking or transporting the drive, do
not apply any excessive force to parts on the PC board.
Transportation
Pack the drive so that it will be protected against
shocks of 20G or more during transportation.
When you take the drive out of the packing case and
carry it on a hand truck, lay on it cushioning material
(for example, unethane foam cushioning 20mm or more thick).
Storage
Take every possible care in handling the drive. It is sensitive
to vibrations shocks and dust.
