Cabling

The maximum cable length from the host system to the drive plus circuit pattern in the host system is 18 inches. Only +5VDC power is applied to this Device.

IDE interface connector

This device has a 2mm pitch interface connector which contains a power line. The connector location is shown in below. Blocking receptacles Pos.20 of socket connector is recommended to prevent wrong insertion. (It is possible that the wrong insertion will cause damage to pin of connector or blow out fuse of the HDD.)

Note: Pin position 20 is left blank for secure connector insertion. Pin position A,B,C, and D are used for drive address setting.
