Troubleshooting IDE drive problems

If you found a problem with the jumper settings or connectors, the next step is to see if the drive works correctly.  Use the previous checks to verify that the drive is operating correctly.

If the drive still does not work, go to the Warranty page to continue the RMA process.  Review the information and follow the instructions to determine if the drive is still under warranty.
