Does the system see
the drive?

How to check
When you turn on your system, the SCSI controller card will display the SCSI BIOS settings. The SCSI BIOS will list each drive or device attached to the SCSI bus. Depending on the type of SCSI controller card in your system, you can press a key combination while the SCSI BIOS is displayed to bring up the SCSI disk utilities. The disk utilities will allow you to test the drive and verify the media.
CAUTION: The disk utilities for some SCSI controllers allow you to format the drive. Choosing this option will erase all the data on the drive. If the drive was working before and you have data on the drive, do not use the format option.
