The San Jose Disk Media Manufacturing and Development group is celebrating a
50 percent reduction in accidents since January, 2004.
Khun Nakorn Tangsujaritpun, DMD HR.& Admin., received the National Best Safety Management Award from Deputy Prime Ministry,
Mr. Wan Muhamad Noor Martha, on May 10, 2004 at Impact Arena Maung Tong Thani.

To earn this award a company must demonstrate achievement of an exemplary OHS management system
in documentation and practices. Thailand ’s Ministry of Labour audits a company’s submission on site and verifies that all criteria are met. In order to win this award, a company must first win at the provincial level before participating at the national level.
Award recipients must meet at least 90% of their OHS standards as described in the following categories:
- Policy and occupational health and safety management
- Inspection and control of hazards & accident statistics and prevention
- Occupational health & medical management
- Work environment management
