This statement from the appropriate authorities in the European Community, Germany, Australia, Taiwan, and the United States of America (USA) certifies that the Microdrive 340MB, 512MB, and 1GB (DSCM) drives, model numbers DSCM-10340, DSCM-10512, and DSCM-11000, meet European Community, Germany, Australia, Taiwan, and USA safety standards for electronic products.
Because the Microdrive was in production before and after the transition from IBM to Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, some drives will have IBM labels, others will have Hitachi Global Storage Technologies labels. We recommend using the corresponding documentation listed below. However, please note regardless of manufacturer the hard disk drives are functionally equivalent. |
